'IYDEY is a leading example of how the British Council is encouraging real international dialogue between young designers internationally. It is also
great that the engagement of the Young designers is UK wide including Scotland – having them in Scotland allowed The Lighthouse to develop an international
outreach later… The finalists really did represent an amazing cross-cultural slice of contemporary design and The Lighthouse staged an exhibition with work of
the Slovenian finalist, Nika Zupanc'
