Registering here means that you will receive regular newsletters about the IYDEY competition, insights into the design scene in different places around the world and hear ideas and issues affecting the international design scene.
You'll also have the chance to enter occasional competitions for on line masterclasses with leading creative entrepreneurs from the UK and other countries.
From time to time there will also be opportunities to become a contributor to this website: we'll be creating spaces for you to tell us about design in your country, your experience as a design entrepreneur and your perspective on the big debates facing us as together we build the global creative economy.
Registering here does not mean that you are automatically able to enter the International Young Design Entrepreneur of the Year award programme. Each year, national competitions are held in ten emerging economies through which the finalists for the award are selected. These national competitions are organised by the local British Council and the ten countries that compete are selected by the British Council's Design and Creative Economy teams in London. By registering here, if your country is selected to participate in the IYDEY programme you will be notified and invited to apply.
