Studies, Music and Philosophy from Lawrence University in the USA and is a member of ShivaSoundSystem – a UK organisation dedicated to
the promotion of “socially aware music and other art forms”. Akshai is working on the development of a multinational gateways in
the music industry. |

Aparna Rao is the owner and senior designer of Applied Fiction, an interaction
design studio. She is a graduate in Graphic Design from the National Institute
of Design in Ahmedabad and a post graduate from the the Ivrea Interaction Design
Institute. Aparna designs objects for 'real characters', inspired by their life
narratives. |

 Arjun Pandey is a 27-year-old filmmaker from New Delhi who set up Ishwar Media to “allow any person across the planet
who has made a film which is either fiction or documentary to be able to sell their films online as well as through a network
of retail shops”. Currently, Ishwar Media has three filmmakers and four titles under its banner. Its innovative approach allows
it to keep pace with ever-changing platforms and formats. |

Ayush Rajvanshi from Bangalore is 27 years old and studies Animation Film Design at the National Institute of Design in
Ahmedabad. In 2005, he won the Emerging Young Designer Award at the NID-Business World Design Excellence Awards. He is now working
on develeping Indian animation based on the country's rich cultural diversity. |

Cindu Chandrasekharan is a 25-year-old radio jockey and producer from Bangalore. She has an English honours degree in
Themes in Contemporary Poetry and Literature in Popular Music from St. Joseph's College in Bangalore, and currently works with
Radio City 91 FM. Her aim to help Indian radio stations "sound better, and earn better". |

 Debu Bhattacharya from Kolkata represents Theme Entertainment, that he set up recently to produce documentaries. The first
Theme Entertainment work is under production. Debu had a brief stint at FEMIS (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Métier de l’Image et
du Son, in Paris) on a scholarship from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and is currently a student of Film Direction &
Screenplay Writing at Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute in Kolkata. The 28-year-old aspires to make visually appealing and
revenue-generating documentaries. |

29-year-old Ekta Khokhar from New Delhi is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Textile Design at the School of Textile
and Design at Heriot-Watt University in Scotland. She has a diploma in Apparel Design from the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad.
Ekta's fashion is built upon ethical values, environmentally-friendly principles and social empowerment. |

Nila Madhab Panda from New Delhi represents Eleanora Images – a multimedia organisation involved in creating uniqueaudio-visual
software. He is a filmmaker from New Delhi who has produced and directed over 50 films. Nila has been awarded the UN audio-visual
award 2002, Heroism in Cinematography 2003 and the UK Environment Film Fellowship 2005. The 33-year-old's productions are inspired
by their viewers, their diversity, and their realities. |

from the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow and has completed a filmmaking course in New York. His concept is to empower

Priya Patil , who is from Mumbai, is a 27-year-old fashion and accessory designer. She holds a Diploma in Fashion Design
from NIFT Mumbai and a Masters Degree in Fashion & Textiles from Nottingham Trent University, UK. Priya launched her accessory
line in 2001. She currently works as a designer/buyer and production coordinator for Alberto Makali. Her products combine a
modern impulse and a fresh, conceptual approach to textile |

2002. Halo Heritage houses a center to produce artefacts and heritage art by employing noted
and talented artisans. Reshmi has a Masters degree in Museology from Calcutta University. Reshmi is 34 years old, and
devotes his time to raising public awareness on crafts. |
