British Council InitiativesThe British Council's worldwide engagement for the creative economy
The Creative Industries Unit of the British Council, which has initiated this website, leads on the creative economy work within the British Council. There are currently programmes for developing and transitional economies, and programmes for developed countries. The projects will generally relate to creative entrepreneurs, policy development, including mapping as a tool for decision making and awareness raising on the creative economy.
You can find additional information on each of the initiatives by clicking one of the icons on the left. As most initiatives run over several years, specific information will relate to the most recent activity in the individual programme.
